Emphasis on the continuity of generation, family ancestral and function of marriage in this world and the other world that caused this diversity and complexity, are the most important characteristics of Sassanid society. The old law limited the demand for women's community,while the new law mandates that the Sassanid era represents tangible progress in their affairs and women's rights issues.This article has studied marriage types, related laws with succession, and social – legal status of women. It seems that based on the social rules and privileges of marriage in the Sassanid era, women have accounted for the different tribal communities.However, the family publicly Sasanian society was firmly defined. However, the political and social events closer to the end of the historical period show that the improvement of the social and political status of women has been greatly promoted. On the other hand, if no descendant of the dynasty of the late sons for the succession is not considered as only reason, the increase in the understanding and promotion of political and social topics of women have been effective in their power demand. تنوع و پیچیدگی ساختار خانواده و ازدواج در ایران عهد ساسانی از موضوعات درخور توجه است. تأکید بر تداوم نسل، نام و تبار خانوادگی و کارکردهای این جهانی و آن جهانی ازدواج که سبب ایجاد این تنوع و پیچیدگی شده، از مهم ترین ویژگی های جایگاه زنان در جامعه ساسانی است. قوانین کهن زرتشتی خواهان ایجاد محدودیت هایی برای جامعه زنان بود؛ درحالی که قوانین جدید- که حاصل بازنگری دستوران عهد ساسانی بود- رشد و پیشرفتی محسوس در امور زنان و مسائل حقوقی آنان را نشان می داد. مقاله حاضر گونه های رایج ازدواج، قوانین مرتبط با جانشینی و وضع اجتماعی و حقوقی زنان را بررسی کرده است. به نظر می رسد قوانین اجتماعی ازدواج در دوره ساسانی حدود و اختیارات زنان را متفاوت تر از جوامع عشیره ای تبیین کرده است و نهاد خانواده به صورت عمومی در جامعه ساسانی تعریف استواری داشت؛ رخدادهای اجتماعی و سیاسیِ پایان این دوره تاریخی نشان از آن دارند که نقش اجتماعی و ارتقای اعتبار اجتماعی و سیاسی زنان به شدت ترقی داشته است. اگر در اواخر سلسله از سویی نبود اولاد پسر را برای جانشینی تنها دلیل واگذاری قدرت به زنان ندانیم، در سوی دیگر نیز، افزایش بینش و ارتقای درجه سیاسی و اجتماعی زنان در مطالبه قدرت مؤثر بوده است. https://jhs.modares.ac.ir/article_22806_f4b3da8be9b354457f288b15bd37410a.pdf
