On the other hand, teachers’ personality as well as their mental and psychological balance are more important than those of the other kinds of people in the society. The present study is an applied and cross-sectional research done by using a survey among different Tiranian teachers in different schools (elementary, guidance and secondary) in 2011.There were 240 people participating in this research. Because of the scattering of research people in various areas, we used multi-stage cluster samples to determine the volume. Also the data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by using Lisrel and SPSS softwares. The findings indicated that there was no significant difference between women and men, married and single people and teachers’ mental health rate. On the other hand, there was a direct significant relationship between mental health and various dimensions of social trust. In other words, the more social trust, the more mental and psychological health. These findings are in agreement whit the ideas such thinkers as Putnam, Wilkinson, and Kavachy. اعتماد یکی از مؤلفه‌های تأثیر‌گذار بر سلامت افراد جامعه است. تأمین سلامت گروه‌های مختلف جامعه، یکی از مسائل اساسی هر کشوری به‌شمار می‌آید. اما شخصیت و تعادل روانی معلمان بیش از سایر طبقات اجتماعی موردتوجه و با‌اهمیت است. مطالعۀ حاضر، پژوهشی مقطعی و کاربردی است و با روش پیمایش، میان معلمان سه دورۀ (ابتدایی، راهنمایی و متوسطه) شاغل در شهرستان تیران و کرون در سال 1390 انجام شده است. به‌علت گستردگی و پراکندگی منطقه، جهت تعیین حجم نمونۀ موردنظر، از روش نمونه‌گیری خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای استفاده شده است. در این نمونه‌گیری، 240 نفر از معلمان منطقه مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته‌اند. داده‌ها با استفاده از ابزار پرسش‌نامه جمع‌آوری، و به کمک نرم‌افزارهای SPSS و لیزرل تحلیل شده است. یافته‌های تحقیق بیانگر این است که بین میزان سلامت روان زنان و مردان، افراد مجرد و متأهل و همچنین معلمان مشغول به خدمت در شهر و روستا تفاوت معنا‌داری وجود ندارد. از سوی دیگر، بین میزان سلامت روان با ابعاد مختلف اعتماد اجتماعی رابطۀ مستقیم و معنا‌داری وجود دارد؛ به‌عبارت دیگر با زیادشدن میزان اعتماد اجتماعی، میزان سلامت روانی افزایش پیدا می‌کند. نتایج این تحقیق همسو با نظریات اندیشمندانی همچون پاتنام، ویلکینسون و کاواچی است. https://jhs.modares.ac.ir/article_22783_f2d35b2542b90a729646e3503a790669.pdf
